Despite wanting to murder the material (it kept rolling up), the end product looks lovely. I used a slightly heavier cotton jersey and the shoulders are pointing outwards a bit, I hope that might soften with wear. Thank you!

I cut the sleeves with a curve to create an armhole. It went really well with your instructions until reassembling the sleeves. I can not attach them without getting mismatching seams at the shoulders, the sleeve itself or the armpit. They are now longer and in another angle than the backpiece.
Sorry for my lack of understanding.
