Based on the drawings the adjustment was not done on the center front like you explain because that is underneath the arm hole for sleeve. So i’m a little confused where you actually did this on center front or side seam? You can clearly see that your diagram depicts at side seams. Also if i selected pattern size based on full bust size the pattern would be massive everywhere else i want a perfectly fitted alteration. How would i go about this if my high bust is considerably smaller to my full bust. I don't want massive shoulders and under arms grading down 80% of pattern after selecting full bust size seems counterproductive. Look forward to some clarification.

In reply to <a href="https://www.mariadenmark.com/2021/08/fitting-empire-seam/#comment-1215747">Amy</a>.

I recommend you pick the size based on your full bust. The pattern is not really drafted for one bra cup size, but rather graded and drafted to reflect the natural size ranges. But always make a test garment first!

thanks for addressing this. Should I be choosing a size based upon my upper bust measure or the full bust? I'm pretty sure I'm a bigger cup size than this is drafted for.
