FABRIC REQUIREMENTS

The Mary Basic Blouses are designed for soft, woven fabric. You can use almost any kind and both very light and up to medium weight fabrics. The only thing you need to keep in mind, is that for the drape neckline and the flounce, you might want to use a fabric with some drape.

We have used rayon fabric, rayon twills, soft cotton and crepe georgettes.

Apart from the fabric, you will need:

  • Interfacing for the facings
  • OR bias tape to make bias-tape facing
  • A button and thread for the back neckline closure.
